About Mattel Games Uno Card Game
- Fast-paced family fun. This game just never gets old. The best part is that it is always anyone’s game. A person can be close to winning, but only to get buried in cards in the blink of an eye!
- It is simple to learn and is one of those games that the more people you have playing. The better it gets, We have added an extra deck of UNO cards, even when it is only five or six players just to keep it interesting.
- The best part is that you can play with players as young as 5 and as old as 105! Mattel recommends the game for ages 7 and up, but we have included younger kids who were able to grasp the game quite readily.
- It is a hit during game night, fun to play at get-togethers, and is easy to take along and play at the beach, or any other time and place where you are looking for something easy to play, that is suitable for large groups of people various ages!
I have spent time living in close quarters with new immigrants, and there is often language and cultural barriers that limit the level, and quality of things you can all do together, but UNO is one of those games that is easy to enjoy across language and cultural barriers, to bring people together for a fun time!

There appear to be a couple of variations to this pack of Uno. Look carefully at the picture on the front of the box. I have both the cheaper, non genuine pack and the genuine feeling and looking pack. I found that this set appears to be the better of the two. It has a much bigger and black shadow under the the word UNO and has the wild card pictured on the front of the box.

I was wary about ordering these as loads of reviews say that they aren’t the genuine item, the ones that I received definitely were. They came in a box which had no damage and the cards themselves were in a cellophane wrapper inside. Kept us entertained for hours on our recent camping trip. Very happy with this purchase!

I used to play UNO on the old IRC chatrooms. I always loved it, so I bought this to play with family over the holidays. It is incredibly easy to learn, so even kids can play along. It’s a great one for keeping children over 6 occupied for an hour or so.
Some people said in the reviews that they received cards that weren’t genuine or misprinted. Mine were definitely the real deal and printed perfectly. I could be wrong, but it could be a case that the bad sets are coming from different sellers. Sometimes Amazon automatically shows you the best price among whatever is in stock at the time. Mine were dispatched and sold by Amazon if that helps.

I used to have the original card game, so I first noticed that the cards are smaller and thinner. The size and quality is the same as a mid price range, normal playing card set. It makes playing the game much easier when you have a lot of cards to hold, especially for children. I was not disappointed in the quality of the cards. On first opening the box, it tore, and I don’t think it will take long before it is falling apart, so you may need to find something else to store them in. I like the addition of the customisable cards, so many ways to spice up the game and make it even more enjoyable.

UNO is a great family game. It is simple for kids to understand and more experienced players can add rules like Jumping in and 7,0. I play it at school and everyone enjoys it, but be warned they do get dirty if you have 3+ people playing with it every day. If you are buying this deck because your old deck is manky, try coating the cards with flour, wiping them with a toilet wipe (induvidually) and drying them.
